SURRENDER YOUR CARDS BLOG UPDATE
WELCOME
to my blog page! I'm so ecstatic to share with you what you'll find is my envisioning of contemporary music with some Christian flair.
Here on Surrender your Cards, you'll primarily find original compositions in which I combine what's thought of as the more classical as well as the popular; the minimal, as well as the more ornamental; the contemporary worship structures and secular; the electronic and the acoustic.
My works are influenced by musicians such as the Japanese pianist-composer Ryuichi Sakamoto and, very heavily so, Debussy (who influenced him), but not without some other stylistic considerations from today (prog rock, video game, chip-tune and electronic music). I aspire to be a voice from within God's people with the music I create as a composer.
For written literature (lyrics or poems), you may locate the green menu bar at the top left and select Labels; for music, lyrical/instrumental or just the "music" Label will do. For anything specifically appearing in the post itself, search in the top right.
So, ease that load with some music that is energetic while thought-provoking. I hope you enjoy!
Update: I am currently using the music notation software, Muse Score (version 3), but will be gradually shifting to a sheet music notation software program through the primordially instrumental album titled Chromera Chroma available on various platforms linked here. This can be found in “Social links” on the main page.
Please bear in mind I am working within the space of the current program, which limits the amount of instruments I can use for each project. In other words, the amount of libraries alone does not allow me greater musical freedom. If you're ok with that, and like beautiful, video game music, film, anime-like, electronic/synth, classical, or piano music, you can definitely find something of interest here.
Finally, I will sincerely thank all support from you.
As you may have noticed, though I formally started this blogging project out later in life, my compositional style is very much compact, and substantially developed. Please: share, follow for entries in your Reading feed from me (Blogger account required), comment, and subscribe for email updates for whenever I post! Hope to continue to please God and before man with more content soon.
See you here.

My original goal of composing a song per week has been put off on the Bandcamp platform temporarily in favor of taking the time to familiarize myself with the Waveform DAW for PC. The same applies here for my Blog. So stay tuned for when my new album: "Suspend the Noise" will come out!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to it! 😉
